On February 11th, BioSolutions, Bin2Bean, and FENIX jointly hosted a webinar on turning biowaste into soil improvers, with experts from across Europe sharing practical solutions, project results, and recent advances in the field. Researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders all joined the discussion to showcase how innovation within the bioeconomy can translate into real-world impact.

The experts discussed the potential of biowaste valorization and how it can support more sustainable agricultural practices, improve soil health, and strengthen circular approaches across the bioeconomy.

The webinar coincided with The International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2026, the session was led by women experts who presented key findings and opened the floor to reflections on how circular value chains connect with people, local actors, and communities.

Over 80 participants joined the discussion, contributing to a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives. We’re thankful to everyone who was able to make it.
